I’m Lauren Coffin, a writer, cake decorator, and lifelong doodler. My writing tends to combine whimsy with heavy subjects, usually in the form of literary fiction or horror. I champion the underappreciated form of the novella.

I learned baking through a program at Le Cordon Bleu and spent a little over a decade decorating cakes professionally. Fondant is a special favorite of mine.

As for the art, I love monsters in all their many forms, and I do my best to convey that love through tiny watercolor paintings.
